Celeste Steele

No broken people. No fixers. Just partners, figuring it out.

About

I help people slow down, think more deeply, and reconnect with the wisdom they already carry. My coaching is grounded in curiosity, dignity, and genuine partnership because I believe transformation isn't something we do to people, it's something we create space for together.

I don't believe people need better answers as much as they need better space to hear themselves. No broken people. No fixers. Just partners, figuring it out.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of coach are you?
I describe my work as transformational thought coaching. I am less interested in handing you answers than in creating the conditions for you to hear yourself more clearly.

My approach is collaborative, curious, reflective, and grounded in client agency. I may ask thoughtful questions, offer observations, notice patterns, or invite you to consider another perspective, but you remain the authority on your life.

No broken people. No fixers. Just partners, figuring it out.

What is coaching, and how is it different from therapy?
Coaching is a collaborative process that creates space for reflection, awareness, learning, and intentional action. Our conversations may explore thoughts, patterns, values, decisions, goals, and possibilities, but coaching is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

If something arises that would be better supported by a therapist, medical professional, attorney, financial professional, or another resource, I will be transparent about that. My priority is helping you connect with the kind of support that serves you best.

Are you ICF credentialed?
Not yet. I am a certified coach who has completed ICF-accredited coach education and am currently working toward an individual ICF credential.

Coach certification and an individual ICF credential are not the same thing, and I believe it is important to be precise about that distinction. My certification reflects the coach education and training I have completed; an ICF credential is awarded separately by the International Coaching Federation after meeting its credentialing requirements.

While I pursue that credential, I coach in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics and remain committed to ongoing professional development.

What training do you have?
I am an ICLI Rising Certified Coach, having completed both Level 1 and Level 2 coach education through an International Coaching Federation (ICF)-accredited program.

My training is grounded in the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics and includes advanced coach education, observed coaching, feedback, and mentor coaching. I remain committed to continuing education, consultation, and professional development as my coaching practice evolves.

How do I know which offering is right for me?
You do not have to figure that out alone.

The Discovery Conversation is a complimentary opportunity for us to meet and explore whether working together feels like a good fit. The Clarity Conversation is designed for a focused issue, decision, transition, or next step. The Transformational Thought Session offers more time and spaciousness for deeper exploration. Transformational Partnership is for ongoing coaching and sustained work over time.

If you are unsure, begin with a Discovery Conversation. If I believe another offering - or another kind of support entirely - would better serve what you need, I will tell you.

What can I expect during a session?
Expect a conversation, not a lecture.

You do not need to arrive with perfectly organized thoughts or all the right questions. We will slow things down enough to notice what is present, explore what matters, and make room for perspectives or possibilities that may be difficult to see when you are carrying everything alone.

You are always free to decline a question, ask to change direction, request a pause, or tell me that something is not working for you.
How do virtual sessions work?
Sessions are held virtually. After booking, you will receive the relevant scheduling information, calendar invitation, meeting link, and access to your client portal.

Before we meet, choose a setting where you can speak as privately and comfortably as possible. Headphones can be helpful when privacy is limited. If technology creates an accessibility barrier, contact me so we can discuss what alternatives may be reasonably available.

Is coaching confidential?
Yes. I treat what you share in coaching as confidential, subject to the limits and professional practices described in the Confidentiality Agreement & Scope Acknowledgment you review during booking.

Depending on the service, limited information may also be discussed in mentor coaching or professional consultation, or a session may be recorded for mentor review when applicable. Those practices and the protections around identifying information are explained in the agreement so you can make an informed choice before we work together.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. If you need to make a change, you may cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment through your client portal.

A reminder is sent 48 hours before your appointment so that you have time to make changes within the cancellation and rescheduling window.

If I cancel, do I lose the session I paid for?
When you cancel within the permitted window, your payment remains available to apply toward a future session rather than being refunded.

I currently do not place an expiration date on unused eligible session credit, so you may return and reschedule when you are ready.

Are purchases refundable?
Coaching purchases are generally nonrefundable. When a timely cancellation qualifies under the cancellation policy, the value of the eligible session remains available for future scheduling rather than being returned as a cash refund.
What happens if I cancel late or miss my session?
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, as well as missed appointments, are not eligible for an automatic reschedule. No refunds will be issued, as outlined in the Terms & Conditions.

I understand that life happens. If circumstances prevent you from attending your session, please contact me directly. Any exception allowing the session to be rescheduled will be considered individually and is at my discretion.
What if cost is a barrier for me?
I want coaching to be accessible beyond those who can comfortably pay my standard rates. When capacity allows, I may offer a limited number of sliding-scale or gifted sessions for people experiencing financial hardship.

Availability will vary, but you are welcome to reach out and ask. You do not need to share an extensive financial history or prove your hardship to start that conversation.
What accessibility accommodations are available?
I want our work together to be as accessible as reasonably possible. If something would help you participate more fully or comfortably - such as communication preferences, additional processing time, written or visual materials, breaks, captions, or another accommodation - please let me know.

You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or justify why you need an accommodation. Tell me what would support you, and we will determine together what I can reasonably provide.

If I am unable to meet a particular accessibility need, I will be transparent about that so you can make an informed decision about whether working together is right for you.
Can I request an accommodation that is not listed?
Absolutely. Accessibility needs are individual, and no short list can account for everyone.

You are welcome to contact me before booking or before your session to tell me what would make participation more accessible for you. I cannot promise that every request can be accommodated, but I can promise that we can have an honest conversation about what is possible.
Do you guarantee specific results?
No. Coaching is a partnership, and no ethical coach can guarantee a particular personal, professional, financial, relational, or other outcome.

What I can commit to is bringing care, curiosity, preparation, professional responsibility, and respect for your agency to our work together. What emerges from coaching will also depend on your circumstances, choices, participation, and what you decide to do with what you discover.
